| We are always calling for submissions of non-fiction, creative writing, and art that depict the uniqueness of our Ozarks area, but the focus for this year's contest is, Water, Water, Everywhere Water! Explore and share the past, present, or future relationships between human beings and the natural environments along the watershed areas of your community. |
| As you prepare, you might consider these questions: |
| * Who or what has been significantly influenced by the natural waterways of your community? How? |
| * How have the waterways in your area changed or remained the same over time? |
| * How do the area waterways contribute to the quality of life in your community? |
| * How would you describe the acquatic or wildlife habitats are found along the waterways in your community? |
| * Who or what contributes to the preservation of the area's waterways? |
| * What is the connection between your community's waterways and the greater Ozarks region? |
